GDG on Campus Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology invites you to Cloud Vision Challenge, a hands-on technical workshop where participants build real AI-powered applications using Google Cloud Vision API and Gemini API.

Unlike traditional workshops, this event uses a case-based learning format. Each team receives a unique real-world scenario and must design, build, and present a working solution within the session using their own environment as the data source.

What you will build:

A multimodal AI pipeline that captures images, extracts structured information using Cloud Vision API (label detection, OCR, object localization), and chains the results to Gemini for natural language interpretation and structured output.

Workshop structure:

- Duration: 120 minutes of active build time

- Format: Team-based case challenge (3–4 members per team)

Prerequisites:

Basic familiarity with Python is helpful for students. But it does not require any prior coding experience. A Google account and a smartphone with a camera are required for all participants.

Participants will leave with a GitHub-ready project, and hands-on experience with two production Google Cloud AI services.
