About this event

From Campus Project to Global Startup: Build Your Future Now!

The SDC Global Build-A-Thon is coming to LAUTECH in a massive push to turn campus innovation into scalable businesses. This is not just another hackathon; it's a fully virtual, globally connected competition designed to bridge the critical gap between academic projects and becoming a recognized Startup or SME Founder.

What is the Build-A-Thon?

This competition is a high-intensity, structured process that guides students through the complete journey of product development:

  • From Idea to Execution: Participants will move past theoretical concepts and learn the practical steps needed to design, develop, and launch a minimum viable product (MVP).

  • Startup Acceleration: The focus is explicitly on building solutions with market viability. We challenge students to identify real-world problems and develop technical solutions that can immediately be commercialized.

  • Mentorship & Resources: Throughout the virtual competition, participants will have access to mentorship and resources designed to equip them with business, finance, and technical skills necessary for founding a successful venture.

Why Should You Join the Campus Tour?

The LAUTECH Campus Tour is your essential launchpad into the Global Build-A-Thon. At this session, we will explain:

  • Get Certified for your Skills, either as a Startup or SME Founder: Deep dive into the competition format, judging criteria, and the technologies required.

  • The Blueprint for Success: Deep dive into the competition format, judging criteria, and the technologies required.

  • Founder Mindset: Hear from successful founders about how they transitioned from student-developers to industry leaders.

  • Your Next Step: Receive direct assistance with registration and team formation to ensure you are fully prepared to compete on the global stage.

If you have an idea no matter how small that you believe can solve a problem, this Build-A-Thon will provide the framework, the mentorship, and the global exposure to help you transition from a student developer to a Startup/SME Founder.

Don't just code the future—own it!
