Join us as we take our first hands-on steps inside the Google Cloud Console! After laying the groundwork in Session 1, it's time to move from theory to practice — creating your very first Google Cloud project, exploring the console like a pro, and understanding the fundamentals that keep every cloud environment safe and organized.

In this session, we'll walk through creating and naming your first project, understanding why projects are the backbone of everything you do on GCP, and touring the console so you know exactly where to find what you need. We'll dive into IAM (Identity and Access Management) — covering principals, roles, and permissions — so you understand who can do what, and why getting this right matters from day one. You'll also learn how to link your billing account, set up a budget alert to protect your free trial credit, and enable your very first Google Cloud API.

Whether you attended Session 1 or you're just getting started, come ready to follow along live — this is a fully interactive, hands-on session, so bring your laptop, your Google Cloud free trial, and your questions!

By the end, you'll be comfortable navigating the console, confident about access control basics, and ready for what's next as we move deeper into Google Cloud this term.
