TechIgnite was a beginner-friendly yet power-packed tech event designed to introduce students to the world of hackathons, web development, open source, and collaborative coding.
This 4.5-hour interactive session brought together aspiring developers to explore how real-world tech communities build, ship, and innovate. Whether attendees were complete beginners or already experimenting with code, TechIgnite helped them understand how to take their first (or next) serious step into the tech ecosystem.

Intro to Open Source + Hands-on Git & GitHub Workshop
Practical guidance on version control, collaboration workflows, and building a strong GitHub presence.
Participants learned how to push code, manage repositories, and contribute confidently.
TechIgnite wasn’t just about learning tools — it was about building confidence.
No prior experience was required. Students were encouraged to bring curiosity, ask questions, and actively participate. The goal was simple:
