About this event

Google TechSprint 2k25 – Virtual Hackathon by GDG on Campus, Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad.

Event Description

Google's TechSprint 2k25 is now LIVE — a fully virtual innovation hackathon hosted by Google Developer Group on Campus, Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, and powered by Hack2Skill.

TechSprint is a campus-driven, open innovation challenge designed to empower student developers to solve meaningful problems using the latest Google technologies and AI tools. This initiative enables participants to explore real-world issues within their campus or local communities and convert ideas into impactful, technology-driven solutions.
JUST VIBE CODE AND USE ANY OF GOOGLE TECHNOLOGIES

This hackathon is intentionally open-ended to encourage creativity, rapid experimentation, and hands-on learning. Whether you want to address daily operational issues within a university campus, improve local community services, or build novel applications with Google’s ecosystem, TechSprint provides the platform, guidance, and structure you need to bring your ideas to life.

Participants collaborate in teams, identify real challenges, ideate solutions, develop functional prototypes, and showcase their work to a panel of evaluators. The experience is designed to simulate modern product-building workflows: research, design, implementation, iteration, and presentation.

Join hundreds of innovators, developers, and problem-solvers on a journey where your ideas can become real solutions — and your skills can shape your community for the better.
Challenge Theme: Open Innovation

TechSprint follows an Open Innovation model, giving participants complete freedom to choose any real and relevant problem from their campus or community. The goal is to encourage solutions that are practical, scalable, and rooted in genuine need.

Participants must:

  • Identify a challenge that has tangible relevance either on campus or in their local community.

  • Incorporate at least one Google technology (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud, Flutter, Gemini API, ML Kit, Maps Platform, etc.).

  • Prioritize innovation, user-centric thinking, and measurable real-world impact.

  • Demonstrate technical feasibility and clarity of implementation in their submission.

Ideal problem spaces include:

  • Campus management or student services

  • Accessibility and inclusion

  • AI-driven automation

  • Community safety or mobility

  • Environmental sustainability

  • Digital wellbeing and productivity

  • Local business or service enhancements

TechSprint welcomes all skill levels — from beginner developers to advanced practitioners — and focuses on learning, building, and creating value.
