The Solution Challenge 2026 – Build with AI is a global-level innovation hackathon designed for student developers who want to create meaningful impact using technology. Organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) in collaboration with Hack2Skill, the event encourages participants to build solutions that address real-world problems across various domains.

Open to students aged 18 and above, the challenge allows individuals or teams of up to four members to design, prototype, and present innovative projects powered by modern technologies such as AI/ML, Flutter, Firebase, and Google Cloud.

The hackathon follows a structured journey, starting with prototype submission, followed by shortlisting of the top 100 teams for further development, and culminating in a grand virtual finale where the best teams pitch their solutions to an expert jury panel.

Participants are evaluated based on technical excellence, innovation, real-world impact, user experience, and effective integration of AI. Along the way, teams receive mentorship, resources, and the opportunity to refine their ideas into scalable products.

With a total prize pool of ₹10,00,000 and national-level recognition, Solution Challenge 2026 India is not just a competition, but a platform to transform ideas into impactful solutions and build the future with technology.

• Prototype Evaluation: 29th April - 28th May, 2026

• Top 100 Team Announcement: 29th May, 2026

• Live Product Hosting: 30th May - 9th June, 2026

• Induction Session: 1st June, 2026

• Top 10 Finalists Announcement: 20th June, 2026

• Grand Finale (Virtual): Last week of June 2026
