TECH ARENA by GDG was an interactive technical engagement conducted by Google Developer Groups (GDG) GNITS as part of TEJASYA 2026, the Engineers’ Day celebrations at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science.

Designed around the idea that engineering extends beyond classrooms and conventional technical exercises, Tech Arena created a dynamic environment where students could engage with technology through logic, observation, problem-solving, creativity, and quick thinking. The event was open to students across branches, encouraging participation beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries.

The arena featured four interactive challenges: Jenga, Code by Levels, Character Mix Up, and Guess the Component. Each activity approached technical thinking from a different perspective. Jenga introduced an element of strategy, precision, and decision-making; Code by Levels challenged participants to apply programming logic and computational thinking; Character Mix Up encouraged recognition and association through an unconventional format; while Guess the Component tested participants’ familiarity with technological and electronic components.

Tech Arena by GDG was more than a collection of technical games. It was an experience built around a simple idea: engineering is not only about solving problems, but also about how we think, adapt, create, and approach challenges.
