We are the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Society (RAIS), an organization formed by a group of high school students who saw the rise of artificial intelligence as daunting yet exciting for the future. Artificial Intelligence is a newfound realm of tools, opportunities, and risks that have yet to be addressed in many aspects of our society.

Our mission is to provide a playground for ideas and discussions to flourish, blending the past and the future by amplifying the responsibility that comes with the utilization of AI. To fulfill this mission, we are currently developing an essay competition to accomplish this goal with support from GDGoC FPTU HCMC.

A Responsible Artificial Intelligence Society Essay Competition (RAISE) that is run by RAIS.

GDGoC FPTU HCMC will help host one workshop (about 1 hour) for the final event of the RAIS Essay Competition for student participants.

GDGoC FPTU HCMC provides a program for our 6 winners of the RAIS Essay Competition that is similar to a mentorship, that achieves the following purposes:

• Placing a role of expertise directly in contact with our winners regarding AI matters
• Providing a channel of distribution for new AI opportunities and events, like Google I/O Extended.
• Increase the skill set and knowledge of these 6 winners in the AI field, which is refined and specific to their interests and varying sectors.
