Intercollegiate Competition @ Kean University & Florida International University | Worldwide Participation | March 2026

The Intercollegiate Competition @ Kean University & Florida International University brings together two collaborative competitions: the Kean University Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) and the 305 Hackathon. These activities are organized by student organizations working in collaboration with communities at both universities to create a shared experience for students interested in cybersecurity, innovation, and technology.

This intercollegiate event features two competitions as part of one shared event. At Kean University, both competitions will be available virtually, allowing participants to join from anywhere. At Florida International University, both competitions will take place in person as part of the on-campus experience. This format allows students to participate either virtually or on site while remaining part of the same intercollegiate cybersecurity and innovation event.

Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF)

The CTF competition will take place virtually in collaboration with the cybersecurity community at Kean University. Participants will work in teams to solve cybersecurity challenges in a beginner-friendly environment designed for students from any institution.

The event is open to all majors, all universities, and high school students (16+). Participants will have access to mentors, prizes, swag, and a structured agenda designed to support both beginners and experienced builders.

Note: The Lent CTF will be held virtually. The sprint at FIU is in person.
