GDGoC FAST NUCES CFD is hosting a 24-hour AI hackathon as part of the worldwide Build with AI event series. You will have one day to take a real-world problem and build something that actually works using Google's latest AI tools.
The problem statement drops on event day. Your solution is due 24 hours later. That is it.

Format Onsite + Online (hybrid)
Duration 24 hours
Eligibility Open to all — any university, any batch
Registration fee — PKR 500 per team
Prize — Prize money + certificates

Use any combination of Google's AI and cloud tools:
Google AI Studio — rapid prototyping with Gemini models
Vertex AI — production-grade ML and generative AI
Firebase Studio — full-stack app development
Google Cloud Run — containerized app deployment
Antigravity — AI-integrated IDE
Google Stitch — UI generation and design tooling
All registered participants receive $5 in free Google Cloud credits.
Onsite participants will be guided through redeeming their credits at the venue. Online participants will receive a detailed guide by email.
Event kicks off — Problem statement is released at start time
Build — You have 24 hours to design, build, and deploy your solution
Pitch — Submit and present your project the following day
Winners announced — Top teams receive prizes and GDG swag
Onsite participants are free to leave the venue after the kickoff and return to pitch.
You must follow these to be eligible:
Your project must be started and completed within the 24-hour window. No pre-built apps or template submissions.
All team members must be registered participants.
Projects must use at least one Google AI or GCP tool listed above.
Each participant may only be part of one team.
Teams must submit a working demo or deployed link alongside their pitch. A written description alone is not sufficient.
Use of open-source libraries and public APIs is allowed. All third-party resources must be disclosed in the submission.
Bonus points for:
An original, creative approach to the problem statement
Deploying your app to Google Cloud
Anyone. Students from any university, any year of study, and any technical background are welcome. You do not need to be a GDG member to participate.
