WowVerse x GDGC DYPIU – Phase 1 Ideathon is an online idea-pitching round designed to encourage open innovation, creative thinking, and the effective use of Google technologies.

This phase focuses purely on ideation and presentation. Participants are required to submit a project presentation (PPT) that clearly explains their idea, problem statement, proposed solution, and the Google technology they plan to use. A working prototype or MVP is not mandatory for Phase 1.

What to Expect

• Pitch your idea through a structured presentation

• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance your PPT (Vibe Coding is allowed)

• Get shortlisted for a full-fledged offline hackathon

Theme: Open Innovation

Participants should identify real-world or social challenges such as healthcare, education, sustainability, traffic management, waste management, community safety, or similar problem statements, and propose impactful solutions.

Mandatory Requirement

Each project must integrate or propose the use of at least one Google technology, such as:

• Google Gemini

• Google AI Studio

• Firebase

• Google Cloud Platform
