Participated in Gateway to GSoC 2026, an online mentorship series organized by GDG On Campus – Dronacharya College of Engineering on 18 March 2026. The event focused on introducing students to the open-source ecosystem and Google Summer of Code (GSoC). Experienced GSoC contributors and mentors shared practical insights on selecting projects, making open-source contributions, building strong proposals, and engaging with developer communities. The interactive sessions and Q&A provided valuable guidance on starting an open-source journey, understanding mentor expectations, and preparing effectively for GSoC. The event enhanced my knowledge of open-source development, collaboration, and contribution workflows.
