ArcticX: Winter TechSprint is an open innovation hackathon hosted by GDG on Campus Dr.AITD and powered by Hack2skill, aimed at empowering student developers to build impactful, real-world solutions using Google technologies.

This fully online hackathon runs from 24 December to 17 January, providing participants with an extended development window to identify meaningful problems from their campuses or local communities and build functional, scalable MVPs. ArcticX is a build-first sprint that emphasizes implementation over ideation.

Participants are free to choose any problem statement under the Open Innovation theme. However, the use of at least one Google technology—such as Google Cloud, GenAI tools, Flutter, Firebase, or related services—is mandatory for all projects.

Through ArcticX: Winter TechSprint, students gain hands-on experience with modern technologies, earn Google-recognized digital badges, collaborate in diverse teams, and compete for Google-sponsored rewards. ArcticX offers an immersive environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and creation.
