Gemini X Makers Odyssey is a 3-day, 48-hour hardware innovation challenge (October 31 – November 2) where students design, build, and test physical prototypes that solve NASA-style engineering challenges.

Set in a story-driven environment of exploration and discovery, participants form teams, choose their mission, and tackle themed trials using Gemini AI, electronics, 3D printing, and rapid problem-solving.

With an imaginary budget, teams browse a fully stocked Hardware Marketplace featuring ESP32 boards, motors, drivers, batteries, sensors, and 3D-printing filament—every resource is provided to turn ideas into reality. Gemini AI acts as the Mission Specialist, guiding design choices and helping build efficient, reliable systems.

On Day 3, teams pitch their creations to judges and compete for exciting prizes, exclusive merch, and recognition as top innovators.

Hosted by the Google Developers Group and Makers Club at Constructor University, Makers Odyssey brings together engineers, designers, and innovators on a journey from idea to prototype—where creativity meets impact.

15:30 - 17:30: Final Presentations - 12-15 teams × 10 minutes = ~2 hours - 3 min pitch + 2 min demo + 5 min Q&A/transition
