Build Your Own AI Knowledge Assistant

In this beginner friendly workshop, you will build your own AI Knowledge Assistant that can answer questions using your own documents.

You will learn how modern AI applications combine:

1. Large Language Models

2. Retrieval Augmented Generation

3. Document Chunking

4. Embeddings and Semantic Search

5. Vector Retrieval

6. Reranking

7. Prompting and Answer Generation

We will explore different chunking methods, turn document chunks into embeddings, retrieve relevant information, and send that context to an LLM to generate useful answers.

We will use tools such as Cohere for embeddings and retrieval, with the final LLM announced before the workshop.

No previous AI experience is required. Bring your laptop and build along with us.
