Your portfolio is more than a collection of projects. It is an opportunity to show how you solve problems, apply technical skills, and grow as a developer.

Join Google Developer Groups on Campus at Claflin University for an interactive portfolio-building event designed to help students strengthen their professional presence in tech.

The event will begin with a hands-on portfolio lab where participants can evaluate and improve how they present their skills, projects, GitHub profiles, and experiences. This will be followed by a virtual session led by Dua Amjad, Developer and Security Professional, Global Speaker, and Founder of QoogleMind.

In her session, “Thinking Like a Hiring Manager: How to Build a Tech Portfolio That Gets You Hired,” Dua will explore how students can transform class assignments, hackathon builds, personal projects, web applications, and UI/UX work into compelling case studies that capture the attention of recruiters and hiring teams.

Whether you are creating your first portfolio or improving an existing one, you will leave with practical guidance for presenting your work with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.

No previous experience is required. Students from all majors and technical backgrounds are welcome.
