Many Computer Science students begin university with the goal of becoming software developers, yet along the way, many feel confused about what to learn, when to learn it, and how to prepare for the tech industry.
This first online session, organized by Google Developer Group (GDG) C.K Tedam University of Technology & Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Computer Science Department, is designed to provide a clear and practical roadmap for students from Level 100 to Level 400.
The session will focus on:
What skills Computer Science students should build at each level
How to grow from basic programming to industry-ready development
Tools every aspiring software developer should learn (Git, GitHub, VS Code)
An introduction to modern technologies such as Flutter, Firebase, and Google Cloud
Common mistakes students make and how to avoid them
This event is especially suitable for Level 100–300 students, but final-year students are also encouraged to attend to better position themselves for projects, internships, and industry opportunities.
By the end of the session, participants will have a clear learning direction, understand how GDG supports student growth, and know the next steps to take in their software development journey.
