Women are making remarkable strides in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), yet their contributions often remain underrepresented. Recognizing the importance of visibility, mentorship, and empowerment, TechSHEroes: Celebrating Women in Tech is an online campaign designed to highlight the achievements and insights of women in technology.

As part of the campaign, notable women in the tech industry will be invited to share their experiences and words of wisdom, reflecting on what it is like to work in the tech field and offering guidance for aspiring women who wish to pursue careers in technology. These testimonials, along with profiles and achievements, will be curated into publication materials to be posted on the GDGoC BU’s official Facebook page.

This initiative aims to inspire students and the general public, promote gender equality, and provide actionable encouragement for the next generation of women in STEM.

The campaign will feature a series of social media posts highlighting selected women in technology. Each feature will include:

1. Profile Summary – Background, achievements, and contributions to the tech industry.

2. Words of Wisdom – Insights on what it’s like to work in tech and advice for aspiring women.

3. Visual Materials – Professional photos and graphic designs to accompany testimonials.
