A beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop focused on version control using Git & GitHub was conducted to introduce participants to essential development practices.

The workshop was designed to help participants understand the importance of version control in modern software development and how it enables efficient collaboration within development teams. Participants gained insights into managing repositories, tracking changes, and following standard development workflows using Git and GitHub.

The session also highlighted real-world collaboration practices commonly used in software projects. The workshop was led by Vijayakrishnan S R, former GDGoC Lead, and was open to participants of all skill levels.

Certificates were issued to participants upon completion of the session. No prior experience with Git or GitHub was required.
