About this event

Bringing together the importance of professional networking and continuous skill development, this programme offered students an opportunity to learn from experienced speakers who shared valuable perspectives on career growth and technology.

The first session, "Professional Networking – Connect, Collaborate, Grow," was organized in association with the Department of Computer Science and led by Dr. P. Subha Arunachalam, Poet and Assistant Professor at SRM University, Chennai. The seminar highlighted the importance of building meaningful professional relationships, effective networking, personal branding, and creating opportunities for long-term career growth.

The second session, "Beyond the Syllabus: Building Skills, Projects & a Career in AI that Lasts," was delivered by Faiha Fathima, Former GDG on Campus Lead and 5th Year Integrated M.Sc. Computer Science Student. The session encouraged students to go beyond academics by developing practical skills, building impactful projects, creating strong portfolios, and embracing continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of Artificial Intelligence.

Together, the programme provided participants with valuable insights into professional networking, career readiness, and lifelong learning, inspiring them to take meaningful steps toward their personal and professional growth.
