Join us for an unforgettable event, "Shelby Stack: Build with AI & Hackathon," hosted by GDG on Campus at BNU in collaboration with GDGoC ITU. Inspired by the strategic and gritty world of Peaky Blinders, this workshop invites you to dive into Google Tools and explore the power of AI in building innovative tech solutions.
The Dynamic: BNU forms its own cross-functional Families. ITU forms its own cross-functional Families. Over two days, they invade each other's campuses to build, pitch, and battle for the title of "The Shelby Family.”
⚙️ The Mechanics of the War
The Factions: Each university drafts its own distinct teams (Families). A BNU Family will consist entirely of BNU students (1 Tech, 1 Design, 1 Coverage, 1 Sponsorship). An ITU Family will consist entirely of ITU students.
The Stakes: They aren't just fighting for themselves; they are fighting to prove which university's ecosystem (BNU's creative/business edge vs. ITU's technical muscle) breeds the ultimate tech empire.
The 2-Day "Home and Away" Timeline
DAY 1: "Into the Enemy's Yard" (Location: ITU)
The BNU Families travel to ITU's turf. The focus is on raw technical firepower and laying the foundation.
The Arrival: BNU Families arrive at ITU. The tension is set.
The Arsenal Workshop: Industry Experts host the heavy, fast-paced workshop on Google's AI tools (Gemini APIs, Firebase). Both factions receive their weapons.
The Hustle (Part 1): The hackathon begins on ITU soil. The focus for Day 1 is backend development, AI integration, and core architecture.
The Ceasefire: Day 1 ends. Code is committed. BNU Families retreat to their home turf to strategize for the next day.
Between Both Days: The Hustle (Part 2): The final sprint. Tech members squash bugs, Design members polish the UI/UX, and the Sponsorship/Coverage members finalize the slide decks and pitch narratives.
All families are allowed to use AI leave campus after the ceasefire work on their product to make sure complete development before deadline.
DAY 2: "Defending the Home Turf" (Location: BNU)
