We’re excited to announce that we are hosting TechSprint WinterHack 2025, a hackathon where student innovators come together to build real solutions using Google technologies.

Whether you're a beginner curious about tech or an experienced coder ready to innovate, this is your chance to learn, build, collaborate, and shine!

What is WinterHack?

WinterHack is a project-based hackathon organized by GDG on Campus, where you will

• Solve real-world challenges through the Open Innovation model

• Build impactful tech solutions using Google technologies

• Team up, brainstorm, and turn ideas into working prototypes

• Learn how a structured hackathon workflow actually operates

Challenge Theme: Open Innovation

TechSprint follows an Open Innovation model, giving participants complete freedom to choose any real and relevant problem from their campus or community. The goal is to encourage solutions that are practical, scalable, and rooted in genuine need.

Participants must:

• Identify a challenge that has tangible relevance either on campus or in their local community.

• Incorporate at least one Google technology (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud, Flutter, Gemini API, ML Kit, Maps Platform, etc.).

• Prioritize innovation, user-centric thinking, and measurable real-world impact.

• Demonstrate technical feasibility and clarity of implementation in their submission.

Participation Requirements

• A team of 2–4 members

• At least one Google technology used in the solution

• A functional prototype (minimum viable version acceptable)

• Project documentation and a short demo video

• Internet access for virtual participation
