For many final-year students, project writing is one of the most stressful and confusing parts of university life. From choosing a suitable topic to writing the report, preparing slides, and facing proposal or final defenses, students are often expected to “figure it out” with little practical guidance.

Project Aid with GDGoC HUI is a focused virtual webinar created to address this gap.

This session brings together recent Al-Hikmah University graduates who have successfully completed their academic projects to share clear, practical, and experience-based guidance on how to approach project writing and presentation with confidence. Rather than theory, the webinar focuses on real expectations, common mistakes, and proven strategies that help students perform better during proposals and final defenses.

Scheduled to hold virtually on Friday, 6 February 2026, from 4:30 PM to 6:10 PM, the event is designed to simplify the project process, reduce uncertainty, and help students prepare more strategically for one of the most important academic requirements before graduation.

Participants will gain clarity on:

• How to select and refine a project topic

• How to structure and write an academic project properly

• What examiners look out for during proposal and final presentations

• How to prepare effective slides and present confidently

• Professional conduct, dressing, and communication during presentations

• Mistakes to avoid and lessons learned from experience
