Most hackathons ask you to imagine a solution. This one asks you to ship one.
In 8 hours, your team will go from a blank screen to a working, deployed AI application — built with Google's Gemini API and Antigravity. The theme is Student Life, Supercharged. We're inviting you to build a functional application or agent that solves a specific problem for students—whether it's managing coursework, navigating campus life, mental health support, social connections, or productivity. If it frustrates you as an Aivancity student, it's worth solving.
We provide starter templates, Google Cloud sponsor credits, and snacks to keep you going all day.
We build for most of the day. At 3:45 PM, code stops. Every team submits a Project Card — a description, a screenshot or short video, and a link to their live app. The audience browses the digital gallery and casts their votes. Only the Top 8 teams take the stage for their final presentations. The room picks who gets the spotlight.
À 15h45, le codage s'arrête. Chaque équipe soumet une Project Card. Le public vote. Seules les 8 meilleures équipes monteront sur scène.
10:00 AM: Kickoff & Environment Setup
10:40 AM: Build Phase 1 (Solo? Spend 10 mins finding your team!)
12:50 PM: Cloud Run workshop (Mandatory)
1:10 PM: Lunch Break
1:50 PM: Build Phase 2
3:45 PM: Code Freeze. Submissions due
4:15 PM: Gallery Vote & Top 8 Reveal
4:40 PM: Grand Finale. Top 8 Live Pitches
6:00 PM: Closing
Your app could actually ship: The winning team walks away with a 500 euros cash prize and a meeting with the BDE to discuss deploying their solution across the Aivancity campus. Not a prize for a shelf — a real next step.
The room decides who wins: There's no closed-door panel. Your peers vote for the Top 8 who take the stage. A genuinely useful app beats a flashy one every time.
A real technical skill day: Gemini API, Antigravity, and Cloud Run — hands-on, in one day, with mentors available throughout. You leave having actually built and deployed something you can put on your portfolio.
