Welcome to the official registration form for the Build with Gemma Hackathon, organised by GDG on Campus ABU Zaria

This is a 1-day in-person hackathon where teams of up to 5 will use Google DeepMind's open Gemma 4 model to build AI-powered applications that solve real challenges facing Northern Nigerian communities across local language AI and civic life.

Before you register, note the following:

• Registration is team-based (2–5 members). If you are registering alone, indicate so and we will help merge you into a team before the event.

• There is a free Pre-Hackathon Workshop before the main event where we will walk you through how to build with Gemma 4, submit on Kaggle, and what judges are looking for. Attendance is strongly encouraged.

• Every team must have at least one member with a Kaggle account before the hackathon day.

• All submissions must include a live demo, a public GitHub repository, and a Kaggle project Writeup.
  
  This form takes less than 5 minutes to complete. Fill it in carefully as the details you provide will be used for team coordination, communication, and prize distribution.
