10:30 AM: 🎀 Kickoff Keynote & The "Anti-Project" Brief

  • The Inspiration: Opening remarks featuring the latest Google I/O announcements and a live demo using Gemini Live to spark build ideas.

  • The Rules: Explicitly showing the "Anti-Project" slide - what NOT to build (No basic RAG, No Medical/Mental Health bots).

  • The People: Introduction of the Judges and Mentors.

11:15 AM: πŸ› οΈ Environment Setup & Dev Tools Overdrive

  • Access: Distribution of Google Cloud Credits and verification of API access to ensure every laptop is primed and ready.

  • Crash Course: A rapid-fire introduction to Google’s newest developer tools announced at I/O so teams can maximize their builds.

11:45 AM: 🀝 Speed Networking & Team Formation

  • The Activity: "Pitch your skill" (e.g., "I'm a backend dev looking for a creative storyteller").

  • The Rule: Teams of 3–4 are preferred. Solo hackers are grouped up or encouraged to join existing ideas to maximize credit usage and project quality.

1:30 PM: πŸ₯— Working Lunch Food is served directly to the tables. Hacking continues uninterrupted to keep the momentum going.

7:00 PM: πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» First Round Judging & Presentations Every single team that submitted a project gets exactly 5 minutes to pitch their build to the judges.

8:30 PM: πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’» Finalist Presentations The top teams from the first round take the main stage to demo their projects in front of the entire room.

9:15 PM: πŸ† Awards Ceremony The ultimate reveal! Highlighting the top projects and announcing the top 3 teams, who will receive the grand prize: An exclusive, private pitch session with the Deals Team of Google’s AI Futures Fund

9:45 PM – 10:00 PM: 🏁 Event Wrap-up Final thank yous, parting swag distribution, and goodbyes as the venue closes.
