About this event

Flutter is Google’s mobile app SDK for crafting high-quality native interfaces on iOS and Android in record time. Flutter works with existing code, is used by developers and organizations around the world, and is free and open source -- https://flutter.io

Join GDG Missoula for a Flutter Study Jam! This group will meet and complete the Flutter Udacity Course, with the open door to extend our education and pursue projects as desired. The group will run from early August to the end of September.

Flutter Udacity Course: https://www.udacity.com/course/build-native-mobile-apps-with-flutter--ud905

By the end of this Study Jam, you should have all the tools you need to be able to jump in and create mobile apps from scratch using the Flutter framework. Everyone who completes the course will get a Google-offered Study Jam completion certificate and a profile badge.

You’ll also get to meet and create with talented and awesome local developers.

Intermediate programming experience is ideal but not required for a motivated beginner. Weekly attendance is recommended but not required.

Please do your best to set up Flutter on your computer before the meetup. It’s quite simple: https://flutter.io/get-started/install/

You can also Write Your First Flutter App for extra credit prep: https://flutter.io/get-started/codelab/
