The launch event for “Build with AI: Build for OpenMadurAI” was successfully conducted, bringing together developers, students, entrepreneurs, and innovators passionate about building AI-powered solutions for real-world civic and industry challenges.

This initiative marked the beginning of a six-month innovation-driven journey focused on strengthening the OpenMadurai ecosystem through AI-based ideation, prototyping, and deployment of impactful community solutions. Participants were introduced to the vision, roadmap, collaboration opportunities, and resources available as part of the OpenMadurAI initiative.

The event created an engaging platform for aspiring innovators to explore how artificial intelligence can contribute to smart city development, public problem-solving, and scalable digital transformation initiatives for Madurai.

A heartfelt thanks to all attendees, speakers, organizers, mentors, and community contributors who made the launch event a meaningful success. The future apparently involves humans teaching machines to solve problems humans created. Still, progress is progress.
