From Idea to Production: The Age of the Creator

GDG Kuwait

For a long time, building software meant splitting the work. One person imagined the product, and someone else wrote the code that made it real. Designers waited on engineers. Engineers waited on designers. Whatever idea you had in your head was always a few skill sets and a few people away from being something you could actually use. That distance is disappearing! Come learn more with Amr!

About this event

"

For a long time, building software meant splitting the work. One person imagined the product, and someone else wrote the code that made it real. Designers waited on engineers. Engineers waited on designers. Whatever idea you had in your head was always a few skill sets and a few people away from being something you could actually use. That distance is disappearing.

This workshop is about a new kind of person: the creator. Anyone who can take an idea and ship it on their own. A designer no longer needs an engineer to write the code, because tools like Claude Code turn intent into a working app. An engineer no longer needs a designer to make it look and feel right, because tools like Claude Design generate the branding, the design system, and the UI. The wall between the two disciplines is gone, and what's left is a simpler question. Can you build the thing?

Together, we'll prove that you can. We'll take a product from the very beginning, starting with a real business idea, and move through branding, design, and development all the way to a live product on the web, all within the session. The goal isn't to replace designers or engineers. It's to expand what each of us can make alone. Whether you show up as a designer, an engineer, a founder, or just someone with an idea, the gap between ""I have an idea"" and ""I built it"" is smaller than it has ever been."

Speaker Bio:

I'm Amr, founder and CEO of Babel Studio. Over the past ten years I've grown Babel from a one-person operation into a studio that's delivered branding, product, and web work for more than 100 clients across 12+ countries, including the United Nations, Careem, the American Marketing Association, and PIF Saudi Arabia. Along the way the line between designing something and actually building it stopped making sense to me, so I started shipping my own products end to end, including Myzan, a platform for interior finishing engineers. What I care about most is the moment an idea turns into something real that people can use, and AI has made that moment reachable for almost anyone. This workshop is me showing you how.
