IWD '17 - Telling Our Stories is the Women Techmakers Global Event Series Celebrating International Women's Day.

International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality within our communities. As Women Techmakers powered by GDG Ibadan, we plan to do this by improving our programs thus increasing women GDG members through increased collaboration and raising awareness through social media.

Women TechMakers Ibadan provides visibility, resources, and communities for the women in technology as it the standard mission for WTM globally. The overall objective is to be able to talk and share our stories with the audience and empower the women in technology. The audience will also be equipped with knowledge on the various code labs that will be held. Women in Tech with startups will also get a chance to share  their work and get feedback from the audience.
