Firestore – A quick and easy way to set up a cloud database

Firestore is a NoSQL document database built for automatic scaling, high performance, and ease of application development. While the Firestore interface has many of the same features as traditional databases, as a NoSQL database it differs from them in the way it describes relationships between data objects

In this workshop you will create your own Twitter clone using Firestore to build the basic Tweeting functions of the clone. The workshop will cover:

1. Deciding Tweet Firestore structure

2. Creating a Tweeting UI and connecting it to Firestore

3. Build functionality for “Commenting” on Tweets

4. Build functionality for “Liking” Tweets

5. Build functionality for “Nested Comments”
