About this event

Expand your horizons by joining our Cybersecurity meetup:

Benny Meisels - When is smart too smart?

Western governments have increasingly banned Chinese-origin technology from critical infrastructure, citing espionage concerns. Vehicles are among the affected products, but should a car be treated like network equipment?

Modern vehicles are a mix of safety-critical and comfort/infotainment functions. They are always connected, constantly updating, and deeply integrated with national infrastructure through V2X and charging networks.

This talk examines what makes them attractive targets, the realistic attack scenarios that concern regulators, and where automotive security is headed as vehicles grow more autonomous.
