Join us for an empowering event this International Women’s Day as we explore the theme "Breaking the Pattern." In this gathering, we'll discuss how patterns in the tech industry can be changed when individuals decide to challenge and redefine them. This is your chance to engage with thought leaders and change-makers who are pioneering new paths in technology and leadership. Let’s come together to question biases, empower each other, and create new possibilities that break away from traditional limitations. This event will be a stepping stone for those who want to shape a more inclusive and innovative tech community.
Call to Action: Be part of this transformative journey! RSVP now and take the first step towards breaking the pattern and forging new paths in the tech industry.
This will be a hands-on, interactive workshop designed to help you think, build, and take action.
Over 2 hours, we’ll:
Identify real challenges women face in tech
Work in small groups to break down these patterns
Use AI tools (no coding required) to design simple tech-enabled solutions
Share ideas through a creative gallery walk (no long presentations!)
Walk away with one bold action you’ll take after the session
No 🙂 ! This session is beginner-friendly but still tech-centered. The focus is on thinking, problem-solving, and using AI as a tool.
Please come with:
A fully charged laptop (preferred) or smartphone
A Google account
A free ChatGPT/Claude/ Gemini e.t.c account
If you’d like to get a feel for the AI tools we’ll use, try this:
Example prompt:
“Design a simple tech solution that helps more women in Eldoret start careers in tech with limited resources.”
No pressure if you don’t—this is just to get you curious 😊
Share your experiences
Work with others
Try new ideas
Think boldly
This is a small, intentional group, which means more interaction, more support, and more impact.
Looking forward to building with you 🚀
