Snowfall data piling up? Nearly drowning in rain data? Don't worry, we're here to help! Join us for "Scientific Data Processing: Weather Data & Cloud Dataproc," a hands-on event featuring two labs designed to help you turn your data into valuable insights. Don't have scientific data? That's okay too, learn BigQuery and to use Cloud Dataproc.
This week's hands-on labs:
In this lab you analyze historical weather observations using BigQuery and use weather data in conjunction with other datasets. This lab is part of a series of labs on processing scientific data.
In this lab, you will learn how to use Apache Spark on Cloud Dataproc to distribute a computationally intensive image processing task onto a cluster of machines.
With the "Weather Data in BigQuery" lab, you will learn how to analyze historical weather observations using BigQuery and use weather data in conjunction with other datasets. And with the "Distributed Image Processing in Cloud Dataproc" lab, you will gain practical experience in using Apache Spark on Cloud Dataproc to process computationally intensive image data. Don't let your scientific data overwhelm you - join us and learn how to make it work for you!
Across the labs we'll:
Process data in BigQuery, and
process images using Cloud Dataproc.
Whether you are new to scientific data processing or an experienced researcher, this event will provide you with valuable insights and practical skills that you can apply immediately to your scientific projects. Join us and take your scientific data processing skills to the next level!
We'll work through the labs to get hands-on experience and when you complete each multi-lab quest, you can earn a badge for your LinkedIn!
Learn Data, ML, AI, or Cloud skills with us one week at a time.
