About this event

ETL processing (Extract, Transform, and Loading) is a traditional data processing technique that has been used for decades.  You might be wondering if it is possible to run ETL tasks on Google Cloud to extract data, transform it, and to load it into other systems.

Good news, you can!

Google Cloud Platform has Cloud Dataflow and other tools to perform ETL operations.

At this event you will get to practice working with data using Cloud Dataflow and BigQuery to help you prepare for the Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer Certification.

This week's hands-on lab:

ETL Processing on Google Cloud Using Dataflow and BigQuery

In this lab you will build several Data Pipelines that will ingest data from a publicly available dataset into BigQuery.

We'll work through the lab to get hands-on experience and when you complete each whole quest, you earn a badge for your LinkedIn!

Learn data engineering skills one week at a time.
