Introducing you to a hackathon where the problem statements came straight from Parliament.

Build with AI: Code for Communities is a hackathon where every problem statement was submitted by a sitting Member of Parliament. Developers pick one of four tracks, build a working AI solution for a real governance gap, and the strongest solutions don't just win prizes — they get piloted in real constituencies, PHCs, and districts, with a clear path to wider rollout.

Build with AI: Code for Communities hackathon has four tracks, each submitted by a sitting Member of Parliament describing a real gap they're trying to close for their constituents.

• Smart Health — Healthcare: Real-time AI management of PHC/CHC medicine stock, patient footfall, bed availability, and doctor attendance.

• CleanAir & Clear Streets — Environment: Neighbourhood-level pollution map with 24-hour air quality spike predictions and automatic municipal alerts.

• Kisan Alert — Agriculture: Voice-and-SMS crop advisory platform in Indic languages with AI-powered crop recommendations and disease diagnosis.

• People's Priorities — Constituency Planning: Multilingual AI platform that turns citizen submissions into ranked, evidence-based development priorities for MPs.

The top solutions here won't just win cash prizes. They'll be piloted in real constituencies and districts, with a path to scale further based on performance.
