This talk introduces a GenAI-powered analysis solution for the packaging industry, integrated into an IIoT platform. By combining an LLM with a vector database, it enables natural-language querying, analysis, and visualization of IIoT data without deep technical expertise. We’ll show how this approach delivers actionable insights for real-world use cases and outline the system architecture, along with the key challenges of operating and scaling it in a production IIoT environment.
🎤 Vasil Kulakov - Stop Prototyping, Start Shipping: Engineering LLM Apps That Work	In 20 minutes, I’ll share a simple idea: LLMs now let us build things we couldn’t realistically build before. 🎤 Ehsan Safavieh - Building a Scalable Solar Potential Platform with Google Cloud and the Solar API	Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at how we built a scalable solar assessment platform using the Google Solar API and Google Cloud services. We’ll walk through how our system evaluates rooftop solar potential across Germany, from single homes to entire cities, using Google Cloud Platform. You’ll learn how we designed a lightweight yet powerful architecture, the challenges we faced integrating Solar API data, how we extended it with our own algorithms, and why Google Cloud made it possible to avoid heavy infrastructure or large geospatial pipelines. We’ll also share what’s next as we expand toward energy consumption estimation and AI-powered recommendations.
