Join us for a special Google Cloud Melbourne meetup with Google Developer Advocate, Nathen Harvey.
Nathen will be in town that week for the DOTC conference. He's generously offered to pop by and meet the GCP community in Melbourne, and give a talk to us while he's here! Doors open for drinks and nibbles at 17:30, and Nathen will kickoff his talk at 18:00.
Note: due to limited space at the Google offices, we will need to cap RSVPs.
Look forward to seeing you then.
✅ Talk 1: "Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Error Budgets", Nathen Harvey, Developer Advocate, Google
SRE is a set of principles, practices, and organizational constructs that increase the balance the reliability of a service with the need to continually deliver new features. An error budget is the primary construct used to help balance these seemingly competing goals.
Join us at the Google Cloud Melbourne meetup to get an introduction to SRE and Error Budgets. After the presentation, you will have an opportunity to put some of these ideas into practice by defining some Service Level Objectives (SLOs) of your own.
Move faster and safer with SRE and Error Budgets!
