Build with AI is a global developer initiative focused on building real-world applications using Google’s latest AI technologies.

This Kuala Lumpur edition is a full-day Gemini Hackathon organized in collaboration with Google DeepMind. The event brings together developers, builders, and AI enthusiasts to design and prototype innovative solutions powered by Gemini models.

Participants will work in teams of one or two to conceptualize, develop, and present an original AI-powered project within the event timeframe. Teams are free to define their own problem statements and implementation approach, using Gemini and related Google AI tools as the foundation of their solution.

The day will begin with a short technical briefing covering available tools, APIs, platform access, and judging criteria. Following that, teams will move into an intensive build sprint, where they will design, develop, test, and refine their prototypes.

Throughout the hackathon, mentors will be available to provide clarification on tools and technical direction. At the end of the build phase, selected teams will present their solutions to a judging panel.
