About this event

Are you ready to move beyond simple chat prompts and start building autonomous AI systems?

As part of the lead-up to the GDGoC Hackathon 2026, GDG Cloud Hong Kong is partnering with HKUST to host a hands-on technical workshop focused on Agentic AI. This session is designed to give developers and students the practical skills needed to build sophisticated AI agents that can handle complex, multi-step tasks.

In this workshop, we will dive deep into the world of Agentic AI, focusing on asynchronous invocation. You will learn how to build agents that don't just wait for a response, but actively manage workflows, interact with tools, and process information efficiently using Google Cloud's latest AI capabilities.

What you’ll learn:

  • The Rise of Agents: Understanding the shift from LLMs to autonomous Agentic workflows.

  • Hands-on Codelab: A guided technical session on implementing asynchronous invocation for AI agents.

  • Hackathon Prep: Key insights into the "Agentic AI" theme for the GDGoC Hackathon 2026.
