About this event

Please join us for the First GDG Cloud DC 2020 meetup event!

We have a very special presentation by Cloud experts Mike Keating, Mausam Gautam, and Andy Beck. All three have deep experience building highly scaleable applications across applications that support millions of users.

The Edge is the entry point for our mobile applications at Capital One. It's job is to ensure the resilience, security and soundness of the services that drive our mobile experiences. There are a number of underlying technologies and patterns that we have adapted to achieve this end including micro-service architectures and deployments with Netflix tools, the Spring Cloud Framework and Spring Boot. In this Meetup we'll be looking to share some of our learnings and best practices. Our capabilities are largely implemented in Cloud but experience with mobile and other languages is important to our teams.
