In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how modern AI systems understand text using embeddings, numerical representations that capture meaning. The session introduces core concepts behind Large Language Models (LLMs) in an accessible way, then moves into real-world applications such as semantic search and recommendations. Participants will explore a small dataset, visualize how meaning is represented in vector space using free online tools, and attempt a hands-on challenge to see how AI compares and groups text based on meaning. The workshop concludes with discussion, mentoring, and ethical considerations of AI systems.
