About this event

We meet with ML researchers Miras Baisbay and Ilyas Nagiyev. Authors of research paper SCOPE: Source Credibility and Outlet Profiling Engine. The paper was been accepted to the EMNLP 2026 System Demonstrations Track.

SCOPE is a multi-agent system for profiling news media outlets with respect to bias, factuality, and credibility. The goal was to explore how evidence-grounded agent workflows can make media profiling more transparent and reliable, while allowing users to inspect the evidence behind the system’s assessments.
