AI is no longer limited to chat interfaces. Today, developers can bring the power of Generative AI directly into their terminal and daily development workflows.

In this session along with workshop we will explore how to use the Gemini CLI to automate common developer tasks such as code generation, debugging, documentation creation, and DevOps workflows. The session will also introduce the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and demonstrate how it enables AI models to interact with developer tools, APIs, and local environments to build more powerful and intelligent workflows.

During this practical session, participants will:

• Learn AI-powered development workflows using the CLI
• Explore effective prompting techniques for developers working in the terminal
• Build a simple MCP server to extend AI capabilities
• Connect Generative AI with developer tools to automate real-world tasks

By the end of the workshop, participants will gain a clear understanding of how to integrate AI into everyday developer productivity, automate development tasks, and start building their own AI-powered developer tools and workflows.
