International Women's Day 2022

IWD is always considered special. It's, even more, special and powerful when the right action takes place for the welfare of someone. Keeping under-privileged students in mind, this time, as a team, we have planned to educate 300+ GIRL CHILDREN, aged 12 to 16, on basic tech-based topics or teach them how to use Gmail, G-sheets, G-Docs, etc. Education starts with us!

About this event

IWD is always considered special. It's, even more, special and powerful when the right action takes place for the welfare of someone.

This time, as a team, we have planned to educate GIRL CHILDREN, aged 12 to 16, on tech-based topics or teach them how to use Gmail, G-sheets, G-Docs, etc.

We've been conducting webinars and sessions for well-read people but missed discovering the under-privileged children, who lack the basic information of computers and aren't aware of the digital market.

Providing proper and rightful education has to be the primary support that we can bestow on those who can't afford it. When there is appropriate education, one can think and decide for themselves.

Having this & WTM in mind, our team is geared up to train Girl students across different villages, Government schools and Tuition centres on the basics of computers and Technology.

As a team, we'll be visiting 8 organizations in and around Chennai and taking basic computer-based sessions with loads of interactions. These sessions can create a huge impact among the young girls in choosing tech as their career.

While sharing our experiences, they will be able to learn and understand the world, how it has evolved over the years, what the internet is all about and the benefits of a girl child being employed.

Children are the alluring buds in the garden of tomorrow's nation, and we intend to carefully and lovingly nurture them, assist them in blooming into beautiful flowers, because they represent the nation's future and indeed the citizens of tomorrow.

Connect -> Meet young energetic minds with diverse backgrounds and link them with developers, technologists, and freelancers.

Learn -> As volunteers, we get to be a part of their lives and learn a lot, explore the horizons, build milestones and indeed celebrate as we progress.

Grow-> Utilising the knowledge gained and exposure to advanced technologies, help in aiding the community and volunteers to progress further.

Change starts with us! Having our theme #ProgressNotPerfection in mind, we're investing our time in creating a huge progression, be it perfect or not!
