In this 60-minute interactive workshop, we will explore how you can share your own story, as well as focus on how sharing your story can be powerful in a professional setting with customers and colleagues to build a culture of trust, awareness, and vulnerability.

Desiree Buchanan is a lead facilitator at WE. She first attended WE as a participant and also worked on the team executing administrative projects. Desiree thoroughly enjoys working with individuals, teams, and organizations to help people connect deeper with themselves, each other, and the communities they are a part of through Relational Mindfulness programming and activations. She is currently the Founder and CEO of POPLINEN, a size-inclusive clothing brand at the intersection of sustainability and social justice. As a Latinx, she has made it her mission to utilize POPLINEN as a vehicle for good in the lives of women by offering sustainable products that are accessible, inclusive, and give back (a percentage of sales are donated to Step Up Women's Network). She is a trained Relational Mindfulness® Facilitator.
Rena Marie is a wellness professional, DEI facilitator, and performer. She has facilitated trainings and workshops covering topics such as therapeutic communications, wellness, and equity for people in various industries; such as educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and corporations. She has been an actor and dancer for over 25 years and has led high-energy, packed classes with Rhythm & Motion since 2011. Rena Marie also brings her love of dance to people outside of the studio, leading retreats both locally and globally. She is a trained Drama Therapist, with a MA in counseling psychology. She uses this training in her artistic work with youth and adults. Rena Marie believes the arts are inherently therapeutic and can be used to bring about healing and wellness. She is a trained Relational Mindfulness® facilitator.
