About this event

Although Firebase has been around for some time, it received a massive overhaul recently and was reintroduced to the development community during Google's I/O conference. Firebase is a service from Google that provides multiple features for developers so that they can easily put together a backend for their apps and web pages, and interact with their users.

In this meetup you will be introduced to what Firebase has available, such as the real-time NoSQL database, analytics, crash reporting and storage, and will learn how to start using these tools in Android so that you can get up and running with your own Firebase supported applications.
