This year, we are challenging the local tech community to build AI-driven solutions addressing the affordable housing crisis. Participate locally, and compete across multiple GDG chapters in the Northeast!
Event Details:
Welcome to the AI for Good Hackathon Technology has the power to solve some of our most pressing social challenges. This year, GDG chapters across the DMV and Northeast regions are teaming up for a massive, multi-site hackathon focused on a single, critical theme: Housing.
Whether you are a developer, designer, prompt engineer, or community advocate, bring your skills to help build workflows, agents, and applications that make a real difference.
How It Works:
The Challenge: Build an AI-focused project or prototype that addresses local or regional housing challenges.
Expert Insights: We’ll kick off the event with a panel discussion on local housing challenges to help you refine your ideas and understand local needs.
Skill-Building Workshop: Before the hacking begins, we will host a hands-on workshop on building applications using Google AI Studio and Cloud Run.
Cross-Chapter Competition: All submissions will be hosted on codingjam.dev, allowing teams from different states to share ideas and continue building.
The Judging & Showcase: Participating teams will be able to demo their solutions during our 4th Innovation Summit on December 2nd, with regional presentations to follow!
