About this event

This workshop is a beginner-friendly introduction to building AI "agents" for science and research using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK). Give your agents the skills and tools they need to do useful work for you.

In this 2-hour virtual session, you will:

  • Understand how an AI-agent differs from a standard large language model.

  • Leverage AI-agents for scientific research.

  • Use the Google ADK and alternate methods for constructing agentic pipelines.

  • Build and orchestrate a team of agents to do useful work for you!


Who should attend:

PhD students, researchers, industry professionals, anyone looking to accelerate your work with AI. Use case will be grounded in typical scientific workloads.

Requirements:

  • A Google account to use Google Colab and AI Studio.

  • Basic familiarity with Python (covered in the May 7 workshop) - but we will walk through the details.
