Speaker Sathyaram Sannasi: Anatomy of a Data Agent	Let's explore: What's Actually Inside an Agent That Queries Your Data?
Speaker David Aniebo: From Clicks to Tool Calls: Building Agent-Ready Web Applications with WebMCP	AI agents are becoming capable of doing more than generating text; they can search, make decisions, and take actions on behalf of users. This creates a new challenge for web developers: how should web applications be designed when an AI agent becomes another type of user? For years, websites have been built around human interaction: users navigate pages, click buttons, fill out forms, and complete workflows through visual interfaces. AI agents, however, need more reliable ways to understand what an application can do and invoke those capabilities. In this session, we’ll explore how to build agent-ready web applications using modern Web APIs and WebMCP, an emerging web standard that enables websites to expose structured tools that AI agents can discover and invoke. Through a practical example, we’ll transform a conventional web application into one that can support both human users and AI agents. We’ll examine how to design meaningful tools, define structured inputs and outputs, handle authentication and authorization, introduce user confirmation for sensitive actions, and build secure boundaries around agent-driven operations. We’ll also look at challenges such as prompt injection, unpredictable agent behavior, error handling, and evaluating whether agents can reliably complete real-world workflows. The goal is not to build another chatbot. It is to understand how the Web Platform is evolving for an agentic world and give developers a practical framework for building applications that are ready for both humans and machines.
Speaker James Gatt: I Put Android in Charge of My Fish Tank (What Could Go Wrong?)	Keeping fish alive is stressful, but what if Android handled the life support? This session dives into a smart aquarium that collects sensor data, manages climate control, identifies fish via computer vision, and evaluates water toxicity using an on-device LLM, all driven by a native Android app. Maintaining optimal aquatic conditions is high-stakes. Tracking temperature, pH, conductivity, and turbidity lays the foundation for hardware automation. It’s a practical case study bridging raw hardware, scalable architecture, Edge AI, and delightful UI. This session covers: • Architecture: Interfacing sensors via MQTT and a Firebase backend. • UI Polish: Pushing Jetpack Compose Canvas to build an interactive 2D digital twin. • Climate Control: Securely managing high-voltage heaters and DC fans. • ML & Edge AI: Deploying live fish identification and a compact Gemma 3 LLM via Google's LiteRT-LM for real-time telemetry analysis. And voilà, the fish keep swimming!
Speaker Tarun Jain: : Diversifying Vector Search with MMR and Google ADK	Traditional search systems optimize for one thing: relevance. They find items that best match your query and rank them by similarity scores. This works well for many use cases, but it can lead to redundant results. In some use cases, we need a way to maintain relevance while promoting diversity. In this talk, I will break down how MMR works with Qdrant and demonstrate its use with Google ADK Agents for building diverse and relevant recommendation systems along with Streamlit UI.
Speaker Bianca Ximenes: The hidden economics of the AGI race: you might be paying for it all!	RAM is sold out through 2027. Water and energy bills near data centers keep climbing. None of that shows up on a pitch deck. Every major lab is placing the same bet: custom chips, more compute, bigger models. The wager is that speed beats specificity. This talk offers a simple filter for any AI announcement: does it solve something specific, or is it another lap in a race with no finish line? What are the current paradigm options and how likely is it that we will really ge there? A grounded look at where the money actually goes, where the real problem solving happens, and what AI can truly solve, now and later.
